Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been interested in sports and the human body. I remember during my younger years, how I would be glued to the television watching surgeons perform surgeries and never being grossed out like the rest of my family would be. As a result of that, I vowed to do something in the medical field, I just didn’t know what. I know that I was always intrigued by how bones and muscles coexist and how they work together to perform such amazing stunts for the human body. As a child and teenager, I always participated in different sports. During middle school, I was a cheerleader and track runner. Doing these sports, I injured myself quite a few times. I frequently visited my athletic trainer to help me with my recovery and while doing this I “thought” I found my passion, athletic training.
